New data shows that in the second quarter of 2025, the order volume of high-end parts such as lightweight wheels and intelligent suspension systems increased by 22% quarter-on-quarter, reflecting the trend of the market's transformation towards efficiency and green development. By combining topology optimization design with forging technology, their new product reduces the weight by 35% compared with traditional steel wheels and increases the load-bearing capacity by 18%. "This can not only reduce fuel consumption but also improve the effective payload of vehicles." The intelligent transformation has also deeply penetrated the industrial chain. The electronically controlled air suspension system developed by a commercial vehicle suspension enterprise can adjust the vehicle body height in real time through the collaborative operation of millimeter-wave radar and ECU, improving the vehicle's passability and driving stability. "This system has been equipped with multiple new energy heavy trucks, and the failure rate is lower than 0.5%," said the project leader. Intelligent parts increase the added value of the whole vehicle by more than 20%. The upgrading of environmental protection standards is forcing technological innovation. To meet the National VI emission standards, an enterprise specializing in diesel vehicle exhaust treatment systems has developed a solution that integrates platinum catalysts and DPF regeneration technology, achieving a nitrogen oxide conversion efficiency of 99%. "We have also developed a remote diagnosis function simultaneously to reduce the user's cost of use." This solution has been purchased by multiple vehicle manufacturers on a fixed-point basis. Supply chain collaboration has become a new trend in the industry. Leading truck enterprises share R&D data with suppliers by establishing a collaborative innovation platform for parts. "The gear optimization solution for a certain transmission was completed through brainstorming on the platform," said the procurement director of a vehicle manufacturer. This cooperation model has shortened the development cycle by 40% and reduced costs by 15%. Experts predict that in the next five years, there will be two major development directions in the field of truck parts: one is material innovation, such as the application of carbon fiber composite materials in the braking system; the other is the deepening of scenarios, such as the development of a steer-by-wire chassis module for unmanned container trucks. With the acceleration of technological iteration, China is expected to occupy a higher value range in the global truck parts industry chain.
